5 Accommodation Types at Sandals Grenada

We love all Sandals Resorts here at Sea Gypsy Travel! They off such unique, luxury, and relaxing vacations. There are differences in some Sandals locations. Some different amenities, specials, pools, etc.

Overall, a lot of Sandals locations are similar. They tend to have the same restaurants and room setups…because they know what works and they keep to it! We’ve shared various posts about the Sandals Resorts but today we are going to focus on one aspect we haven’t gone in-depth on…the rooms.

Now, we’ve made it obvious that these accommodations are full of comfy linens, great space to relax in, and top-notch bathrooms. However, these resorts often have some pretty exciting accommodations. Some of the rooms come with amenities that you just won’t see everywhere else. Today, let’s take a deeper look into some of the Sandals Grenada has to offer you.

Accommodation Types at Sandals Grenada

Like we said above, most of the Sandals locations will have similar room situations to other resorts. We are going to focus on just Sandals Grenada today…but keep in mind they will be exactly the same or similar.

Sandals Grenada has 4 levels of rooms: Sandals Luxury, Club Level, Butler Elite, and Love Nest. Each level comes with different amenities and obviously the higher the level..the more luxury the room! Here is a quick look at the levels:

Sandals Luxury – their base level rooms but still equipped with luxurious furnishings and high-quality linen.

Club Level – this is a level up from the base level. It comes with one-on-one service and the amenities of a stylish lounge…as well as the remarkable accommodations.

Butler Elite – these rooms come with over-the-top bathtubs, en-suite bar, indulgent linens, and more.

Love Nest – these luxurious suites and villas create the ultimate escape for lovebirds. These rooms come with lush robes and Egyptian cotton sheets.

Now, Sandals has tons of different types of accommodations and only little things could be different so for a full look, contact us directly. There are also a handful of views that you can have in your room such as oceanview, pool, tropical garden, private pool, beachfront, and more. However, we are going to take a look at a few of their most popular and most unique room types at Sandals Grenada and what they come with.

Italian Swim up Bi-level 1 Br. Butler Suite w/ Patio Tranquility Soaking Tub

This room has one of the most exciting features that a Sandals room can have…it’s a swim-up suite! So besides the incredible service, sheets, and bar, you have a pool right outside your door. The walk-in shower has nothing on this zero-entry pool that you can lay in at any point day or night.

You have a plush bed and a separate sitting area that is a step-down parlor area. Relax on a king-size bed and store your clothes in the luxurious walk-in closets. Not only do you have an incredible room and accommodations but it comes with a great number of extras and features.

Italian Oceanview 1 Br. SkyPool Butler Suite w/Balcony Tranquility Soaking Tub

This love nest suite is just phenomenal. This room has direct access to your private skypool. That skypool is an infinity style pool that hangs out the balcony giving you incredible views of the ocean. The bedroom has the pool attached to the balcony area but the living room has a beautiful balcony area to relax and enjoy the breeze.

Can you imagine having your own private infinity pool? We can’t either! The amenities alone are worth getting this room…but then add this incredible pool and a soaking tub in the bathroom?? This room is high on our list to try!

Italian Bi-Level 1 Br. Butler Suite w/Balcony Tranquility Soaking Tub

Even the rooms without private pools are just breathtaking! This one bedroom is bi-level like the first room we shared about- which means it also has the step-down parlor area which makes you feel like it’s a more separate area.

The exciting thing about this room is the fact that it has an extra soaking tub on the private balcony. It has the awesome service, lush bathroom, and walk-in closet but it does have that unique feature of the soaking tub to relax in and enjoy the views.

Pink Gin Beachfront Room

This gorgeous room is one of their basic level rooms but take a look at what it entails! Especially with all the pools and close beach access you don’t need your own pool…just a comfy place to sleep and relax! This room is a beachfront room that provides you with amazing views. You still have a patio or balcony with this room…so you will have that access to the open air and stunning views.

The bathroom has a large walk-in shower and a stunning backlit mirror. You won’t be thirsty with the fridge always full of local beer, water, juice, and soda. And of course, the bed is comfy with luxury sheets!

Pink Gin Beachfront Honeymoon Club Level Suite

On the Club level, Sandals Grenada has a beautiful beachfront honeymoon suite! Gorgeous views, king-size bed, comfy sitting room, and so much more in this suite. Perfect for honeymoons, anniversaries, and romantic getaways. The room comes with either a patio or balcony…depending on what floor you are on. So you have that access to the outdoors right at your fingertips.

Also, the bathroom in this suite is amazing! Pebble accent walls, backlit vanity mirror, overhead shower head, and all beautiful Italian marble you can find. Also, this gorgeous suite comes with access to the Club Sandals service since this is a club level room.

Sandals Saint Lucia Resorts

It’s been a while since we looked at a Sandals Resort. We love Sandals and everything they offer. There is something so relaxing about an all-inclusive vacation. You don’t have to worry about anything once you’re there. For more information on all our Sandals posts, click here.

Today we are taking a look at the Sandals Resorts in Saint Lucia. Thre are a few different Sandals Resorts in Saint Lucia, all on some of the best beaches it has to offer. Here is a quick rundown of what to expect: 1 island, 3 resorts, 11 pools, 11 whirlpools, 27 restaurants, 21 bars, and 2 golf courses. Sounds amazing, right? Let’s see what these Saint Lucian resorts are all about.

Saint Lucia is an island in the Caribbean. Sandals has built 3 resorts on this island that are all incredible. Here are the 3 resorts in Saint Lucia:

These resorts are decked out with pools, five-star cuisine dining options, and very luxurious accommodations. The Saint Lucia resorts also work on a ‘Stay at 1, Play at 3’ program. This resort includes the Stay at 1 and Play at 2 and a new feature! The Halycon Beach now includes the Crystal Lagoon Pool and is the Caribbean’s longest pool measuring at 600 feet. Sandals is a big vacation company that we highlight here on Sea Gypsy Travel. In fact, Jaime just recently visited Sandals Ochi and gave us some great pictures and insight into that location on the Sea Gypsy Facebook page.

It is located just off the coast of the stunning white beaches so that you get that water view.

Not only does this bar give you incredible views…but you can sit back and enjoy the views on a hammock that are attached to the bar itself. They also hang over the water (seeing a theme here?) So you can sit back, on the hammock, and enjoy a cold drink while taking in the peaceful sounds of the ocean.

Latitudes Over Water Bar also features fire pits that you can sit by in the evenings and enjoy an intimate conversation or a fun night with friends. Sandals South Coast takes a typically normal thing like a bar and makes it a fun, unique experience!

Guess what? Sea Gypsy Travel is now recertified as a Sandals Specialist! We just recently went through another workshop to remain certified as a Sandals Specialist. And in the words of Sandals, we are now “equipped with the keys to lock in the most luxurious vacations at Sandals and Beaches.”

There are 4 different tiers to Sandals Ochi accommodations: Sandals Luxury, Club Level, Butler Elite, and Love Nest. But guess what? All rooms come with top of the line bedding, free WiFi, and a stocked in-room bar. Each level just comes with a little more to it. For instance, the Club Level comes with room service and a concierge service. The Butler Elite comes with butler service and in-room premium liquors. The rooms at Sandals Ochi will all come with a grand view but there are many different ones. The room views are the pool, tropical garden, oceanfront, oceanview, beachfront, and partial oceanview. Not only are these luxury rooms equipped with great views but many of the rooms come with special features such as a balcony, private pool, swim-up pool, and even patios. I mean what could be more relaxing than your own pool attached to your room!

Activities

Sandals Ochi offers a huge variety of activities. Take a swim in one of their pools, lounge in a nice chair on the beach, or even get active! You can do many different kinds of water sports such as snorkeling, paddleboarding, kayaking, and so much more. If you prefer to stay on dry land for a little bit, consider playing pool, board games, table tennis, shuffleboard, and even rock climbing.

 

 

Red Lane Spa is a great way to relax and enjoy your vacation. There are 16 spa rooms, a fitness center, salon, steam room, and secluded gardens to enjoy at Red Lane. You will be showered with yummy gourmet food no matter which dining spot you choose. Not only is it gourmet but full of variety. From Italian to sushi and seafood to pub food, you will have plenty of options. The dining options also have various dress codes such as casual or evening attire.

The Jerk Shack is one of the yummy dining options that you can enjoy at Montego Bay. The Jerk Shack serves up some traditional and contemporary jerk style food. If you want a full Caribbean effect, this jerk style dining option is a must-try!

Tokoyo Jo’s is another one of the included dining options at Montego Bay. You will step into an ancient ritual and dine on Asian flared food such as steak with noodles or rice and seasoned with ginger and garlic.

Rooms

There are hundreds of stunning, luxurious rooms waiting for you at Montego Bay. From the normal priced ones to the exclusive suites, you will be sleeping in comfort and luxury.
